Tech, Relationships, and Processes with CEO & Founder of Bluematter, Ryan McInerney [PODCAST]

I met Ryan during the time I served as the Director of Marketing at Employers Resource. In the professional employer organization and human resource outsourcing industry, it’s near impossible to talk growth and marketing without Ryan’s name coming up. And, the industry is better because of it.

We were lucky enough to attend one of his weekend workshops in Boca Raton, FL during a very strategic point on our company’s journey. The insights Ryan and his team presented, the questions they helped us ask, were key in helping us refine our brand image and messaging. The steps he helped us take helped put us on a path of exponential growth over the following years.

Since then, Ryan and I have maintained a great friendship. And, I am stronger professionally and personally because of it. After just a few seconds of listening to him, it will be easy for you to understand why.

It is my absolute pleasure to share some of Ryan’s insights with you. Listen in as we discuss:

  • How he found himself in the digital marketing space.
  • How he is filling a critical gap between in-house and marketing agencies with Bluematter.
  • The tools he uses on a daily basis.
  • The role context plays in digital marketing.
  • Behind the scenes of how they do ABM.
  • What he thinks marketing is really all about.
  • Why marketers should hangout with sales professionals more often.
  • His advice to other digital marketers today.

Ryan understands and discusses the parallels between relationships and revenue in a very compelling way. I hope he inspires you, like he does me, to stay focused on what really matters — people. And, the importance of not over-complicating your stack and having a guiding process for your digital marketing efforts.

Ryan and I will both be presenting at the HRO Summit 360 this month. If you’re in the PEO/HRO industry, I highly recommend checking out the conference.
